Recording... and Problems :O

Today i asked my dad if he could help me edit our recorded assesment because my sister was in a bad mood and didnt want to do it. The video is now on a DVD. I have attached the video to this blog. Most of the recording was done outside, and the wind can be heard over our voices, so i hope that we were talking loud enough.

I hope that this video plays properly because i am not sure if it uploaded sucessfully.

Group Evaluation - Second Half ;)

AND HERE LIES THE SECOND HALF...
Did everyone contribute equally and enthusiastically?
I believe that all members of the group contributed equally by all of us doing 2 things each. And it is evident in the video that we were enthusiastic about the assesment.

How well as an individual did you work as part of the group?
I believe that i worked quite well as a member of my group because i finished the questions that were allocated for me and i provided the video camera for the assesment
Identify your strengths and weaknesses as a group member

My strengths as a group member are that I considered everyone's opinions on how to present the assesment, and that i finnished all of my research quickly so that we could start to record the assesment. My weaknesses are that I needed to let others choose which questions that they would like to before i just choose them first, and that I could have set up an area inside my house for us to record the assesment because there was heaps of interference from the wind.

Outline suggestions to improve your approach to group work
To improve my approach to group i could ask for opinions as much as i offer my own to the other group members. I could have also not wasted our in-class group time by not talking about things that are unrelated to the assesment.

Group evaluation - first half :O

HERE LIES THE FIRST HALF OF THE GROUP EVALUATION...
What role did you take on for this assignment?
I answered questions 1 and 7, and provided the facilities for our group to present the assesment with a video camera.

What did you like about working as a group?
What i liked about working as a group is that i was able to work with my friends and that the workload was spread throughout us, therefore making it easier to get finished.
What was difficult about working as a group?
There were some difficulties with working as a group and they were that we all had different ideas for ways to present the assesment, and we all had to agree on just one. Another difficult thing about working as a group was that it was hard to get together to plan things apart from the class lessons that we were allocated to do our assesments which were greatly apperciated.

What did yo learn about working as a group?
I learnt that working as a group takes patience, politeness and a whole lot of listening to the other group members. If you dont listen to the others have to say, then that person will feel left out, and in the end the assesment will not reach its full potential because the person who was left out will not think that it is worth it because their ideas were not accepted.

How well did you work together/cooperatively?
I believe that my group worked extremely well together because we were finnished about a week before the assesment was acctually due. Another reason that proves that we worked well cooperatively is that everyone's opinions were accepted and used in the final presentation of the assesment.

planning and problems!!

when i get home today i will ask my sister to edit the video on movie maker. But it might not happen because she has as many assesments as i do. Ill ask her to teach me how to use the movie maker first. Jennifer has sent the worksheet to Mr Lennon. The worksheet is a find-a-word made up of the names of bones and muscles.

planning and problems D:

Today at 9:30 am my group came over to my house to record the assesment. Jennifer brought her skeleton jumper and i wore it during the recording. my sister was the camera man. We did encounter some problems... it was reaaaly windy outside, so i hope that you can hear us taking! another problem was that we didnt have enough time with us all together, so the last part was a little rushed. Otherwise... i thought today went pretty well :P my sister said that she could edit the video on movie maker so that the parts where we stuffed up are deleted and so that it is all in order. after the editing is done then it can be put onto a DVD!!!

planning and research!!! :D

I have finnished my dialoge and i keep bugging Jennifer and Nyakur to ask their mum if they can come to my house to record the assesment. If they dont... its not my fault if the assesment isnt completed. :l After school i am going to start making posters for the video so it will be in some sort of order ! :P
jennifer also found this site that me nd her can both use:
http://yucky.discovery.com/flash/body/pg000123.html
this site covers most of the questions asked by the assesment

Research!! :O

Today I researched which doctors treat muscles and bones. I found the following website...
http://www.bonedoctor.com.au/
This website states that Orthopaedic doctors treat the muscoloskeletal system - muscles and bones.
This one website covers both systems, so it made it eaiser for me to find the info.

My aunty goes to physiotherapy heaps, so i know that they treat muscle pains, and rehabilitate people after they have had surgery.
Today i also checked if the DVD's we make from the video camera work on the computer, and they do! this id going to save me heaps of drama!!!
